Nantes is situated approximately 50 km from the Atlantic coast. It is the sixth largest city in France. The campus is spread over 15 hectares of land on the banks of the Erdre River a few kilometres north of the centre of Nantes. It is in the heart of Atlanpole, Nantes' technology hub, which is entirely devoted to cutting edge technology and is also home to other higher learning facilities, research centres and business incubators.
Campus life follows the rhythm of this city in the west of France, which embodies strong economic development, a pleasant living environment, historical heritage and vibrant cultural activity. It is no coincidence that Nantes currently has the highest population growth of all French cities.
An international airport, Nantes-Atlantique, links Nantes to more than 50 cities in Europe, America and Africa (see the list of destinations here). From Nantes-Atlantique airport a 30 minute trip in the airport shuttle will take you to the town centre.
Nantes is 2hrs 10 minutes from Paris by high speed train (TGV).
Two bus lines serve the campus. The stop is called "Chantrerie Grandes Ecoles". Buses 75 and C6 can both be caught at "La Beaujoire" tram stop (on Tram line 1). Bus timetable and map of city-wide public transport network 2016-2017.
