 Global Village

The next edition will take place on Thursday, February 22, 2024. The international students, the BDI (International Students Union), the language teachers and other DELMA members will be showcasing the cultures represented at IMT Atlantique on each campus in parallel: international cuisine, musical and artistic activities will be part of the program.

French Summer School (FSS)

Every year, IMT Atlantique hosts foreign students during the summer months (July-August) to help them improve their French before the start of the new academic year. Through fun, educational and sight-seeing activities led by DELMA, they discover both the French language and culture to improve their understanding and mastery of French in preparation for a successful university year.

Summer School : Open Source Oceanographic Instrumentation

The next edition will take place in June 2024. Following on from the LittObs workshops organised at the IMT Atlantique Fablab in March 2023, the APSE cluster and the Fablab are working with Astrolabe Expédition, Ifremer, Isblue and the Konk-ar-lab to run a summer school.
Over 2 days, participants (IMT Atlantique staff and PhD students, IUEM and ENIB students) discover open source oceanographic instruments and collect marine data while using paddle boards, kayaks, racing sailboats and zodiacs (pressure, temperature and salinity sensors, temperature measurements, etc.) according to well-defined protocols. Scientists analyse the data and discuss the results and uses. Serious fun and science in a wonderful environment !
