Microwave Department - Teams

The Microwave department is structured around three research teams affiliated with LabSTICC, with the following areas of interest:

  • Microwave Devices (DH team)
  • Propagation and Multi-scale Interactions (PIM team)
  • Functionnal Nanostructures (NSF team)

  • The research activites of DH team are structured around the following fields:
    • The design of microwave devices using new technologies
    • The design of environnemental or medical sensors based on microwave/media interactions
    • The design of new reconfigurable microwave devices

  • The PIM team is organised around the following three areas:
    • MOSEM: Electromagnetic Modeling and Simulation - near and far field (tools, asymptotic methods, exact methods, empirical methods, etc.)
    • MOCAP: Modeling and characterization of the propogation channel: physical and statistical methods
    • MOSSYP: Modeling and simulation systems and platforms (experimental and virtual systems)

  • The NSF team is organised around the following areas:
    • Magnonics, a discipline combining microwave engineering and nanomagnetism
    • The modeling of nanostructures exploiting magnetophotonics and/or plasmonics
