SDG 11: sustainable cities and communities

IMT Atlantique’s mission is to ensure that cities and establishments are open to all, safe and sustainable. She contributes to ODD11 through various projects and research papers.

I. My Smart Life

«My Smart Life» Research Project The H2020 project is part of the «Smart Cities & Communities» program intended to bring out the techno - logical solutions on which the smart cities of tomorrow will be based.

II. Resources Available to the Public

On-campus Resources Available to the Public Gyms are regularly the sites of local, academic and national university meetings and competitions.
The borrowing of books in our libraries is possible by other establishments. IMT Atlantique facilitates business access to its incubator, its research platforms, its telepresence and video-conference rooms and its restaurants.
IMT Atlantique also opens its doors for exhibitions and certain conferences.

III. The FabLab

The FabLab is a space of creativity open to all. Machines, tools and equipment are made available to allow everyone to carry out their projects, to discover what they are capable of creating and inventing.

IV. Sustainable construction

The construction of the new buildings meets the standards of thermal regulation RT 2012. In order to optimize space and resources, the principles of densification and reversibility of the construction are applied.
