Students are on internship for  a minimum of eight months (11 months on average) over the course of their engineering course through three periods of company immersion of a duration of one to six months.

Workplace exposure placement

Students join a team in a professional environment in order to discover a company strategy with its values, culture, management style, organisation and constraints. Students apply their knowledge and aptitudes to a technical issue in partial autonomy.

Year one (bachelor level)

Year two (honours level)

Duration: one to three months

Engineering project

Students develop a project in response to a study proposed by a company, from the initial expression of need to the supply of the product. With this objective they apply their scientific, technical and methodological skills, with the support of a team of lecturers and researchers.

Year two (honours level)

Format : group of four to six students

Duration : 120 hours

Calendar: February to June

Skills acquisition placement

In France or abroad, students acquire and apply technical and methodological skills to resolve an engineering issue. They collect information, analyse needs, offer solutions, and mobilise the required resources to obtain concrete results.

Elective Project

Students develop a project in response to an industrial issue linked with the fields of expertise in their elective programme.

Year three (masters level)

Format: group of two to four students

Duration: 126 hours

Calendar: from October to mid-March

Final year internship (engineering programme)

In a company or  research laboratory, in France or abroad, students are placed in an authentic professional situation to resolve a complex issue of an obvious technological or organisational nature in complete

Year three (masters level)

Format : individual

Duration: six months

Calendar: from April to September
