Sponsorship is a unique opportunity to contribute to the training of our engineering students, to support our scientific and technological research and to make a significant impact: accelerating environmental and societal transitions for the benefit of all.

What is sponsorship at IMT Atlantique?

Sponsorship is a form of philanthropic commitment in which you (as an individual or company) can provide financial support for all our projects - training, research, innovation, entrepreneurship - without expecting direct benefits in return. It's an altruistic approach aimed at supporting initiatives and activities of general interest.

Our society has no shortage of complex challenges and collective issues for which engineers are, and will continue to be, at the forefront. That's why our 2023-2027 strategic plan places the digital and environmental transitions of businesses at the heart of our action. All our engineering students and teaching and research staff are mobilized to meet the challenges of a changing world that needs committed men and women to bring about this transformation.

In this context, your patronage enables us to develop our training programs, encourage cutting-edge research and support our students in their quest for excellence. Your contribution plays an essential role in the pursuit of our mission. 

Patronage: a win/win donation

Sponsorship is not just good for our institution. In return for your support of the common interest, your donation triggers certain tax benefits. 
If you are a company :
All your sponsorship expenses entitle you to an annual tax reduction equal to 60% of their amount, up to a limit of 0.5% of your sales excluding taxes, or €20,000 if your annual sales are less than €4 million. If you exceed this limit, you can carry forward the excess tax reduction for the next five years.

You can also take part in actions in order to promote your employer brand and access specific opportunities to meet our students.
If you are an individual :
You benefit from an income tax reduction of 66% of the amount of the donation up to a limit of 20% of income, and 75% on your real estate wealth tax if you are subject to it.

How are patronage funds used?

Your donations are allocated to a number of different programs:

• Social works: through scholarships to support young talent and promote social accessibility.
• Pedagogy: to support the development of new programs essential to the transformations of the future .
• Research: through the creation of 'chaires' (research consortiums), such as ArchOps, or investment in cutting-edge equipment.
• Campuses: to improve learning, research and living conditions in Brest, Nantes and Rennes.

How can I become a sponsor with IMT Atlantique?

Companies, alumni, parents - you all have a good reason to support us! All you have to do is become a patron of the Fondation Mines Télécom, which houses all the philanthropic activities of the Institut Mines-Télécom's grandes écoles, including, of course, IMT Atlantique.
