The "Maison des élèves" offers various types of housing on the Brest, Nantes and Rennes campuses.
A room or flat between 12 to 30 m² , equipped with at least a closet, desk, telephone, bed linen and blanket. Many rooms have their own shower or toilet space, a kitchenette, refrigerator, etc...
Each apartment is equipped with access to the university's broadband network.
2023/2024 Monthly Rental Rates: From €287 to €612, depending on the accommodation category.

How do I book accommodation?
- For 1st year general engineering training via the CCMP competitive entrance exam, reservations are made when you register with the school via the registration platform.
- For apprenticeship engineering courses or general engineering courses via the GEI-UNIV competitive entrance examination, you will be contacted by the residences. Once you have made your reservation, you will receive a reply within 10 days.
- For international masters courses, you must apply for accommodation to the residence concerned (Brest, Nantes, Rennes). You will receive a reply within 10 days.
How are the homes equipped?
All accommodation is furnished and equipped with the following:
- Bed,
- Kitchenette with fridge, hob and microwave
or shared kitchen, depending on the type of accommodation - Bathroom (shower - wc - washbasin)
or shower on landing depending on the type of accommodation - Desk - chair - lamp
- Water, electricity and insurance are included in the rent. No procedures required on your part.
All you need to do is bring the necessary cooking utensils and bedding (pillows, sheets, blankets).
Internet access is available through RESEL, with subscriptions costing between €8 and €13 per month, depending on the package chosen.
When can I move in?
The start of student life and campus integration can take place a few days before the start of the administrative school year. We advise you to reserve your time slot as soon as you receive the information from our residences.
