Coming to France by plane
If you come from outside Europe, you will probably have to transit through Paris airports.
There are 2 main airports in Paris: Paris-Orly (South of Paris) and Paris-Charles de Gaulle (North-East part of Paris). You can arrive either to one or the other and then take a domestic flight to the city nearby the campus you are registered in.
Reaching your campus by train
- From Paris CD Airport
There is a train station just under Paris CDG airport. After landing at CDG airport, you can complete your journey to your campus by train. From CDG airport, you just have to follow the direction “TGV” (high speed train). There are many high-speed trains (TGV) each day from Paris to Brest, Nantes and Rennes.
- From Orly Airport
If you have landed at Orly airport and need to take the train to your campus, it is more convenient to go to the train station located in the city center of Paris, called “Montparnasse”.
- From Paris city center
If you plan to spend a few days in Paris before going to IMT Atlantique campuses, you can take the train from Paris Montparnasse train station, it is located in the heart of Paris. You can access this train station from anywhere in the city by metro/subway.

Coming to Brest campus
- Coming to Brest by plane
Brest is linked to the whole of Europe by an international airport: Brest-Bretagne. It is less than one hour from Paris (10 flights per day), and only one hour from London. Other direct-flight destinations include Nantes, Lyon, Nice, Marseille, Toulon, Birmingham, Exeter and Southampton. A shuttle service links Brest Bretagne airport and Brest city centre several times a day.
- Coming to Brest by train
If you choose to go by rail, there are 8 high-speed trains (TGV) each day from Paris-Montparnasse station. You can buy your ticket on-line at the SNCF-TGV website.

Coming to Nantes campus
- Coming to Nantes by plane
If you come from outside Europe, you will probably have to transit through Paris.
There are 2 airports in Paris: Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Orly . You can take a plane to Nantes Atlantique airport (NTE) from these 2 airports, the flight takes about 1 hour.
If you are carrying luggage, we recommend you take a taxi to get to IMT Atlantique Nantes campus as there is no direct public transport (2 interchanges). Approximate rate : 50 euros.
- Coming to Nantes by train
There is a train station just under Paris CDG airport. After landing at CDG airport, you just have to follow the direction “TGV” (high speed train). Be careful, the airport is huge, you could need up to 45 minutes to walk from your arrival gate to the TGV train station. The Paris CDG-Nantes journey takes about 3 hours.

In case you plan to spend a few days in Paris before coming to Nantes, you can take the train from Paris city center, at Paris Montparnasse train station. The journey takes only 2 hours to Nantes.
If you are carrying luggage, we recommend you take a taxi (available from South Exit) to get to IMT Atlantique Nantes campus as there is nos direct public transportation (1 interchange). Approximate rate : 42 euros.

Coming to Rennes campus
- Coming by plane
Rennes is served by Rennes Brittany Airport (Saint-Jacques), located 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) from the centre to the south-west in the commune Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande.
Regular or seasonal flights from/to Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport (CDG), Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Toulouse, and many places in Europe such as Barcelona, Madrid, Rome, Southampton, Dublin, Manchester, Amsterdam, London etc…The flight from Paris to Rennes takes about 1 hour.
- Coming by train
There is a train station just under Paris CDG airport. After landing at CDG airport, you just have to follow the direction “TGV” (high speed train). Be careful, the airport is huge, you could need up to 45 minutes to walk from your arrival gate to the TGV train station.
From Paris-Montparnasse Train Station to Rennes, many high-speed trains (TGV, "Train à Grande Vitesse") are scheduled. The trip takes about 2h00/2h15.
