Academic excellence, professional integration, international influence: Le Figaro Etudiant ranks the top engineering schools by taking all these criteria into account. Of the 164 engineering schools ranked for 2021, IMT Atlantique comes in 13th place with an overall mark of 16.7/20.
IMT Atlantique is particularly well known for its relationships with companies (17.2/20). On this criterion, the ranking takes into account salaries upon graduation in France, the policy of developing industrial chairs (research consortia), the incoming revenue of the junior enterprise club and activity in professional networks.
The school scores its other top mark in the international dimension (17/20), which includes the proportion of graduates posted abroad one year after graduation, the proportion of foreign graduates, the number and duration of international internships and the school's performance in major international rankings such as the QS and the Shanghai ranking.
