Awarded by Campus France for a period of 4 years, it will be subject to a visit by experts in one year's time. The evaluation criteria cover several aspects ranging from the quality and accessibility of information to orientiation programs, coursework options, teaching support, accommodation, quality of life on campus, and post-graduate follow-up for international students.

The "Bienvenue en France" label will give IMT Atlantique greater visibility both on Campus France's "Etudes en France" platform and on its website, but also within the 260 Campus France locales and branches present in 126 countries, as well as with their partners (companies and foreign governments financing mobility programmes).
This label therefore increases the School's profile on the international scene.
