IMT Atlantique recognized both nationally and internationally as an actor in sustainable development and social responsibility (SDSR)

IMT Atlantique has been awarded the national sustainable development and social responsibility (SDSR) label, which promotes sustainable development and social responsibility in higher education and research institutions.

This label rewards the school’s efforts and actions in the fields of governance, training, research, environmental management, social policy and ties to the local community: a fundamental task that has also enabled IMT Atlantique to become the first French institution to be ranked in the "Industry and Innovation" category of the Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings 2019.

SDSR label

The DD&RS Labelling Committee is composed of representatives of the Conference of Grandes Ecoles (CGE), the Conference of University Presidents (CPU), the Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition, the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, the French Network of Students for Sustainable Development (REFEDD) and the Collective for the Integration of Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development in Higher Education (CIRSES). The committee validated the commitments made by IMT Atlantique in terms of sustainable development and social responsibility by awarding it the DD&RS Label for a period of 4 years. The School thus joins a small circle of accredited higher education and research institutions.
