Laurence Malpot appointed Secretary General of IMT Atlantique

Laurence Malpot will join IMT Atlantique as Secretary General as of 12 September 2022. As a member of the management committee, she will be responsible for managing the operations and development of the school.

Laurence Malpot succeeds Antoine Sadoux and brings her experience in project management in the education and research sector. Vice-president of the Health Campus of the University of Rennes 1 since 2019, she contributed to the deployment of the reform of the first year of health and piloted the administrative reorganisation of the health UFRs.
She was previously Director of Development and Continuing Education at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Santé Publique (EHESP) where she worked on the development of resources and on the implementation of integrated preparatory classes (CPI) to diversify the profiles of civil service students.
She then became Secretary General of the Rennes School of Business, with responsibility for the renovation and upgrading of the Rennes campus and the design of the business model for the 2019-2023 strategic plan.

A graduate of Kedge Business School and holder of the Essec/University of Mannheim Executive MBA, Laurence Laurence Malpot began her professional career as a business engineer in a consulting firm with Orange/France Telecom and then as Business Unit Manager for Continuing Education at Reed Elsevier Group.

Guaranteeing IMT Atlantique operates smoothly

Laurence Malpot has a thorough understanding of the management issues specific to higher education institutions, Laurence Malpot will manage  operations at IMT Atlantique in conjunction with the school's management and the various departments of the General Secretariat (Finance, Heritage and General Services, Infrastructure and Information Systems).
Based on the Brest campus, she will also participate in the elaboration and implementation of the school's strategy and development and will manage the monitoring of student extracurricular life (activities, accommodation, security, etc.) on the 3 campuses of Brest, Nantes and Rennes in close collaboration with the course managers.
