The 2022 ranking of engineering schools by L'Étudiant magazine sees IMT Atlantique in 5th place.
IMT Atlantique continues its rise and has gained two more places in the ranking. This year, it is ranked level with Mines Paris Tech, and is now one of the top engineering schools behind only Polytechnique, Télécom Paris, Centrale Supelec and Ecole des Ponts ParisTech.
The ranking covers 172 institutions for this 2022 edition. It is still based on 4 main indicators:
- Academic excellence
- International perspective
- Relations with industry
- Openness to new audiences
IMT Atlantique gets the highest score (20) on the criterion of relations with industry.
"Showing constant progression, IMT Atlantique has risen to 5th place in this ranking, on a par with Mines ParisTech. Although the pandemic has undoubtedly had an impact on the schools, particularly on the relationship with industry, we have resisted better, confirming our position, firmly established since its creation, among the major A-ranked, French engineering schools," notes Paul Friedel, president of IMT Atlantique.
