IMT Atlantique continues its rise in the ranking of universities under 50 years old, moving up from 59th to 50th place.
The school is ranked 5th among French universities and is the leading engineering school in France for universities under 50 years old.
In addition to the quality of the institutions' training and research, this ranking highlights the number and the impact of its researcher-lecturer's publications over the last five years.
"We are of course very happy and proud of the evolution of our school within THE YUR", says Paul Friedel, President of IMT Atlantique. "This world ranking of universities under 50 years old underlines the strong dynamics of the school over the last 4 years* in all fields. It is great recognition for our research faculty, our students and all the staff of the school."
* IMT Atlantique was created by the merger of Mines Nantes and Télécom Bretagne in January 2017 - the two original schools having been less than 50 years old before the merger, which is rarely the case for institutions in the ranking. (Télécom Bretagne 1977/Mines Nantes 1990)
