Romain Billot's talk at the meetup big data & off shore races

At ALLOHA meetup, Romain Billot presented the results of a first student study on the analysis of the large volumes of data collected on the maxi trimaran Edmond de Rothschild. In collaboration with Olivier Douillard (AIM 45), the study made it possible to classify and correlate part of the data recorded with the optical fibres positioned in the rigging and structure of the boat. The world of ocean racing expects a lot from data sciences. To be continued!
