Cofund Bienvenüe

The BIENVENÜE postdoctoral program – “Welcoming highly-talented international postdocs in Brittany” aims to recruit 75 post-doctoral fellows. It is co-funded by the European Union (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions), Région Bretagne and partner research institutions for a total of 11 million €. Recruitment is organized through 3 calls launched in 2021, 2022 and 2023. Research proposals are drawn up by postdoctoral candidates on the theme of their choice, but must contribute to the Breton Research and Innovation Regional Smart Specialization Strategy.

The next and last call for BIENVENÜE projects will open at the beginning of December 2022 and close on February 15, 2023

25 two-year postdoctoral fellowships will be offered, for research projects starting from September 2022.

 

Laboratories which are eligible to host a BIENVENÜE fellow are administratively affiliated with at least one of the program partner institutions: 

  • Agrocampus Ouest,
  • IMT Atlantique,
  • Inria,
  • Université de Bretagne Occidentale,
  • Université Bretagne-Sud,
  • Université de Rennes 1,
  • Université Rennes 2,
  • Sorbonne Université – Station Biologique de Roscoff.

They must also be located in Brittany. In accordance with Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions rules, the applicant must, at the deadline of the call, be in possession of a doctoral degree or have at least 4 years of full-time equivalent research experience. He/she cannot have resided or carried out his/her main activity in France for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the deadline.
