Recruitment process

For teacher-researcher positions, applications must include:

  • a cover letter
  • a synthetic CV on 2 pages
  • the list of scientific publications
  • the report(s) of the advisor (Thesis or HDR)
  • a letter of recommendation with the author's contact details


For other position, applications must include:

  • a cover letter
  • a synthetic CV on 2 pages

Applications are reviewed by both the Human Resources Department and the person in charge of the open position. A first selection on file is made jointly. Successful candidates are invited to participate in an interview with a recruitment committee at the Brest or Rennes site. In some cases, this interview is supplemented by other interviews.
The dates of the recruitment commissions are indicated for each position.

The time between the selection on file and the invitation to the interview is sometimes very short, so it is advisable to plan your availability without waiting for your invitation.
