Deciding pursuing a Master Degree in a foreign country is not an easy choice. Leaving behind a stable job, family and friends to study in France was frightening, there was just so much uncertainty about the possible outcomes of such a big step. Now I am confident to say that studying at the IMT Atlantique in Brest was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
During the Master of Science in Information Technology at IMT Atlantique, I had the opportunity to learn from excellent professors that gave me a solid theoretical background. Most of the courses of the program had a very practical focus, including challenging projects that encouraged the students to apply the theoretical concepts studied in class. I truly believe that the way in which this Master of Science program is structured prepared me to be a valuable professional.
The outstanding academic level of the courses was complemented with a very enjoyable campus environment. The Campus at Brest provides all the facilities needed to have great student life. From the delicious meals at the RAK (the Campus Restaurant) to the amazing parties at the Foyer, the Campus at Brest was an excellent place to live during my studies.
Thanks to the knowledge that I gained during the program, I was able to get an Internship at the Sony Stuttgart Technology Center in Germany to prepare my Master Thesis. After successfully finishing the project I was offered a full time position at Sony. I am confident to say that IMT Atlantique and the Master of Science in Information Technology were crucial to start my career in a top company as Sony.
