Acquire the skills of an engineer and build your education and training path

FISE calendar

Common core subjects

From Year 1 (cycle 1), the core subjects common to all students are available in several versions to suit your profile. Your personal tastes can also be expressed through a variety of projects carried out in a collaborative environment. The work placement and the content of the program allow you to discover different facets of the engineering professions and the contexts in which they can be carried out. This 1st year is also the time to build your educational training project. Validation of the 1st year leads to the award of a Bachelor's level certificate.

Themes for further study

In years 2 and 3 (cycle 2), the choice of two themes for further in-depth study, projects (innovation, entrepreneurship, research, etc.), internships and international visits will enable you to gradually adapt your course to your career plans. Openness, autonomy and flexibility are the watchwords of this course, which will make of you a top-level engineer.

Throughout the course, future IMT Atlantique engineers are assessed on the basis of their competencies. In addition to your scientific and technical training, these competency-based assessments validate the knowledge, know-how and interpersonal skills that you will need to acquire.
