Lowcomote : first training about Model-Driven Engineering for 15 PhD students

Lowcomote is a European program in Software Engineering with the goal of training a new generation of experts in building applications based on low-code development platforms hosted on the Cloud.

Since February 2019, the project’s partners have been recruiting 15 PhD students, who met from 2nd to 7th December at IMT Atlantique in Nantes. They attended the first network event of the project, namely a training week about Model-Driven Engineering held by Prof. Dimitris Kolovos from the University of York.

Nine other network events are planned between now and 2022. They will be organized in turns by each project partner and will focus on topics ranging from Virtualisation and Cloud computing to transferable skills like communication or career development planning. The next event will be organized in February 2020 at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
