At the time of the coronavirus pandemic, telemedicine finally appears as a possible practice of medicine, especially in the eyes of citizens. The first definition of telemedicine as a remote medical act was given by the law n ° 2004-810 of August 13, 2004, the decree n ° 2010-1229 of October 19, 2010 defines the 5 acts (teleconsultation, medical telesurveillance, tele expertise, medical remote assistance and medical response) but it is only since September 2018 that the act of teleconsultation falls under ordinary law and is reimbursed by Health Insurance. Did the medico-economic evaluation facilitate the listing of the act? Are traditional methods of economic evaluation applied to telemedicine or do specific methodologies appear? From two literature reviews and some real case studies, these points will be discussed.
