Anne Beauval has been vice-president of IMT Atlantique Bretagne-Pays de la Loire since January 1st 2017. Before that, she was president of the École des Mines, Nantes, from February 1st 2012.

A former student of the Polytechnique (1997) and a Corps des Mines engineer (2000), she began her career in the Brittany regional office of industry, research and environment (DRIRE), in charge of the industrial environment and sub-surface division and as assistant director, from 2000 to 2003. She then joined the Douai École des Mines as research director, from 2003 to 2008, where she was in charge of contractual activity and the school's industrial relations, with a particular focus on re-launching a technology incubator on sustainable development.

Anne Beauval then turned to the nuclear industry, after specific training in the field, and became mission head for the director of the Gravelines nuclear power plant to implement an integrated management system on the site. She then directed the safety, radio-protection and medical department of the plant from 2010 to 2012.

Anne Beauval chairs the Conférence des Grandes Écoles of the Pays de la Loire region, of which she has been the administrator since January 2017.
